Well a little bit of sad news, I failed my glucose test (by 6 points) yesterday! I was so upset. But after talking to people I learned that failing the first one is pretty common. I go in next week to try it again (this time it's a 3 hour long test)! Ugh! I also have low iron. So from here on out I'm on an iron supplement twice a day. Fun times....but SO worth it. More red meat and green vegetables please. Happy Halloween all! This is my first Halloween not helping my mom out with Frank and Sophie. They sure do look cute though. A Hawaiian girl and boy. :) love it. Next year I'm thinking we should coordinate them with Ella Jane. :) speaking of which, Halloween sure will be different next year. :)

Bad Storms!

So happy to not live in the north! Major storms going on right now (up north)! Major flooding and heavy winds, blackouts! My cousin Amanda (that just moved to New York) (talk about bad luck) is living in a hotel until they find a house (she might be rethinking this now)! They were with out power for a while yesterday. Yikes. Hoping these storms go away. Here in Tennessee we have lots of rain and cold!!! I love the cold...not the rain!

Currently, sitting at the doctors office. I have my Glucose test today! Kinda dreading it, considering that I live on sweets these days. :/ and apparently you have to drink this chalky orange drink (oh gross)! But just praying that everything results as "A-OK!"

On a happy note: Knoxville is getting an Anthropoligie!!!!!!!! On the other hand, this could be bad for me. ;) I'm excited!!

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. Football season is over! Usually I'm sad, but I gotta admit (this season) I'm glad! Its nursery time!!!
2. I love lazy weekends, but I also love productive weekends. And this weekend has been soo productive. My weekend was totally dedicated to Ella Jane's nursery.
3. The plan for Josh and I to share a closet and give Ella Jane her own, had to change. We both just have way too many clothes.
4. Ella Jane still has her own closet-- just a small version. :) so I spent hours (like 5 hours) yesterday organizing 3 closets! And now I'm happy to say that all our laundry is clean (first time ever this has happened) our closets are organized, and Ella Jane's clothes (what she has so far) is hung up! :)
5. After a VERY busy day- Cracker Barrell dinner (pintos) were absolutely perfect! It's so cozy, especially this time of year.
6. Josh makes fun of me, but I'm seriously obsessed with coupons and saving money these days. It makes grocery shopping so much more fun too. Today's savings, ($28).
7. My belly is getting so big (and uncomfortable)! And my ankles have started swelling a bit--but it's so worth it! Every baby I see now reminds me of how wonderful things are going to be when Ella Jane gets here! I seriously can not wait!
8. Mom got Ella Jane's pottery barn chair in the mail! Oh it turned out so cuuute! And Mamaw got part of her bedding in the mail. They said it's even prettier in person. Ahhh.
9. My man has had somewhat of a stressful weekend, so he has played a lot of xbox.
10. My car is in need of tires, like sooooo bad. So I'm driving Josh's truck this week. Parking should be lots of fun. ;)

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. Im kinda obsessed with coupons right now, it's sorta becoming a hobby of mine. and yes I'm getting old. ;) but I do love saving money.
2. The Dragons didn't have the best game, but the Cougars did!
3. I love how Josh puts his arm around me after football games (win or lose) and whether he is talking to someone or not, his arm is right there. Funny how I still get giddy.
4. so proud of my football coaching man!
5. A very dear friend of mine called with exciting news!!!
6. Retailmenot.com and geoQpons.com......obsessed! You should check them out.
7. So glad and a little embarrassed to say that I got our wedding pictures printed finally! :)
8. Sinister is a good movie! Scary but good! But not so scary that I thought about it afterwards. :)
9. My man loves his Buffalo Wild Wings (I would have never waited that long)!
10. So glad Walking Dead is back on!

Ella Jane is kicking stronger than ever. Josh feels her now if he is even close to my belly Haha!

Thankful Thursday

1. A belly that looks/feels like it's doubled since last week - this just means Ella Jane is growing! :)
2. All her little (sometimes big) kicks and movements. It's so cool.
3. Melissa who is dealing with my crazy baby shower style and throwing us a shower (and made the invitations I found and loved so much)!
4. Family who have already offered to buy some of the big things we need for the nursery.
5. A week of fall break - I can't imagine only having 2 days! This week is going by too fast already. But it's been relaxing and somewhat productive.
6. The pretty fall colors! The trees are gorgeous right now!
7. Football being almost over. I usually don't feel this way. Usually I'm actually a little sad to see it go. But this year is different. I'm ready to get the nursery going (i got the paint yesterday)!

Fall break crafts

This fall break is being chalked up to lots of crafts (I've just been in one of those moods, like everyday this week). Plus, I know I should enjoy them now cause days like this will probably be few and far between when Ella Jane gets here. :) today I have made a bday present for Nicole (the big 4-0)! And Christmas presents!! Josh went and picked up Ella Jane's amoire. So precious!

Yesterday Josh and I went to register Ella Jane. Bless our hearts. We were so clueless with all the baby stuff. But We had fun and just stuck with brands like Graco and Chicco. We knew we couldn't go wrong. :) I think we did good. But once we got in the car I found the "must register for" list from Babies R Us and I realized I had forgotten some stuff. Ha! I'll do it online.

Happy Wednesday! It's absolutely gorgeous today.

Grandmothers bday

Last night me, josh, Janie, and Larry celebrated grandmother for her 81st bday! I can't believe she is 81! She seriously doesn't look it at all, and gets around like no other too! We met at Riverview and ate, which was delicious. It's kind of a hole in the wall restaurant, but the food is country and really good! Josh and I got her a framed pic of our gender announcement. She is ALL about pictures. :) Janie told us last night that she has decided for Ella Jane to call her "MiBella". not sure where she came up with it, but it's growing on me. Today: josh has football practice til noon, then we are going to REGISTER Ella Jane! So excited!

Mossy Letter

Even though Josh isn't a huge fan of the mossy letters, I'm obsessed with moss. So this initial was a must for the nursery. :) can't wait to hang it with a big burlap bow!

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. Leaving work, knowing you don't have to go back for 9 days, is amazing. Hello fall break!
2. It was a great night for football Friday. The Dragons won and the Cougars came a hair away of beating Powell! Whoooo!
3. Saving $33 at Ingles felt pretty darn good! Coupons are the way to go! And now I'm obsessed pretty much!
4. Sleeping for me is getting more and more uncomfortable!
5. The Clinton Antique Festival was a huge success! One of the first things I saw was a high chair for Ella Jane! It's so SO perfect for our style (and it was only $30). And in awesome condition. One thing, it doesn't lock on one side, but my dad has that covered. ;)
6. I also got the most beautiful amoire (?) for Ella Jane's nursery. It's going to be precious for all her little clothes and shoes. And it was seriously a STEAL! Only $115! We couldnt believe the price!!! I didnt get to bring it home, Mom and I couldn't get it in our cars, so Josh is picking it up on wed! So ready to get her nursery going now!
7. I finally ate at Hoskins...not bad.
8. I was going to paint the nursery a gray color, which wouldn't match the amoire. So now I've decided on an off white/cream color.
9. I love porch sitting at my moms this time of year! And loving on frank and Sophie!
10. The clothes Amanda gave Ella Jane are beyond adorable!
11. Dark Shadows is a really good movie. Josh and I loved it!
12. I loooooove the Christmas stockings I bought for me, Josh, and Ella Jane today at Belk. And they were only $20 with 45% off (and I used a gift card)!!! Sure does beat $90 I just about paid at Pottery Barn. ;)

Friday Fluff!

Currently...laying on the couch, drinking milk, watching the news, and feeling Ella Jane kick away! And thinking about a sweet friend who may not get to have this experience. It really breaks my heart. Cause there's nothing like it in the whole world. It's the most special blessing.
Last night...Josh got home late (he went to a football game) so I got some Salsaritas, relaxed, took a shower, laid in bed, and watched the vice presidential debate. Ah!
Today...was Career Day in second grade! We had guest speakers and made it a really fun day. I was Dr.Kerr! ;)
Tonight...The Dragons VS. The Red Devils! I can't believe football season (at least for us) is almost over! But I'm glad, cause that means we are fixing to have time for the nursery! I'm buying the paint over break!
Currently loving on...this cool fall weather! Theres no denying it now, fall is here!
A highlight of the week...my cousin Amanda is moving to upstate New York. So on her way, she made a pit stop here in Tennessee and brought Ella Jane tons of clothes!! yayyy!
So excited about...my girl getting here! ;) always, but especially this week, thats all I can think about. So ready to meet her, love on her, pinch those chubby legs (haha), tell her how loved she is, how often she was wished for/prayed for, and just kiss her all over!

The vetoed painting

After bringing home the new picture I got for Ella Jane's nursery (that I seriously do...well did) love, Josh looks at it and says: "maybe you should look on Pinterest for a better idea." lol! Old lady'ish? I don't think so. But needless to say, it's going back tomorrow. Hahaha!

Things i must do over fall break

1. Register for our baby shower 2. Buy paint for nursery 3. Help Melissa with shower invitations 4. Go to a pumpkin patch! or corn maze 5. Watch lots of Halloween movies 6. Make a sign for Ella Jane's room 7. Rest 8. Possibly (but doubtfully) start moving my clothes to josh's closet. 9. Do no school work what so ever!

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. I love football games at Powell. Free
hotdogs, free chips, and a free drink. :) I just wish the dragons would've won.
2. Fall is officially here. Lazy, rainy, cold, hoodie days inside with my man are the best!!
3. Petros have always been our food of choice but especially in the fall.
4. Silent House is really scary, but I'm still embarrassed to say that I made Josh turn it off after 30 minutes into it.
5. I registered for Ella Jane's baby bedding. :) I love it so much! And my Mamaw has already graciously offered to buy it. Ahhh!
6. And Josh's grandmother graciously offered to buy Ella Jane's bed and changing table!! Which I haven't gotten picked out yet. Josh and I are going to register over fall break! :)
7. Our baby shower is in the making, Dec 9. Can hardly wait!!
8. Ella Jane has really been kicking this weekend! Josh has felt her several times. It's the sweetest feeling in the world! Josh and I were cuddled up on the couch, Ella Jane was kicking...and I realized that it doesn't get too much better than this.
9. Cold Sundays put me in the mood for Cracker Barrell, so Josh and I met Matt there for lunch.
10. I bought the first thing for Ella Jane's nursery today! It's a gorgeous print I found at Home Goods! And I believe it's going to match the bedding perfect!!

24 weeks!

Our precious Ella Jane is really growing! Josh (and my mom) got to feel her kick! We all got so excited! Josh just kinda stares at my stomach, just waiting for it to move. Haha! And here lately, he doesn't have to wait long. :)
