mavs, dragons, race, halloween!

Last night: I finally got to watch Boyf coach! :) He looked adorable *winks* But he was kinda upset after the game. His team lost 46-6, to the MAVS. :/ Eeeks.

Today: Me, Mom, and Traci walked a 5K in Race for the Cure. Very neat event, and the walk wasn't bad at all [i just hated getting up that early on a coooooold saturday mornin haha]. We started at the World's Fair Park, made our way downtown, and then back to the other side of the park. We went on some roads I had never been on before, or had never really paid attention to, so I saw a couple shops that I wanna check out! :) The walk was at a good pace, we talked the whole time, saw some really cute and interesting outfits, so it went by fast! We're definitely going to do it again next year.

Tonight: The trick-or-treaters are coming out! And I'm hanging out with Boyf [hopefully he'll be in a better mood] Ill miss Frank and Sophie, but they are ready for Halloween, for sure. Check them out! :) Wonderwoman and Superman! Ain't they the cutest things you've ever seen! ;) haha!!

Boyf's treat basket is going to be sososo cuuute thanks to Leslie. Haha.

scary storms

Hey blogaroos! Today, has been soso windy and rainy, with tornado warnings everywhere this afternoon!! Thank goodness one didn't actually land on the ground! Scary! Boyf texted me after school to check in! Aw. So sweet he is. :)

Tonight, I'm in the mood for a long hot shower, some coffee, some Dancing with the Stars, and couch time. So that's exactly what's happening. Loooooveloovelovelove stormy nights! They're so peaceful, and they put me in a happy little place.

Tomorrow, is humpday and boyf day! This week is kinda flying bye. I'm so happy too. It should be a great weekend, I plan on....

--going to the BIG football game Friday night!

--watching Boyf coach some football, for the first time [my first time watching him, not his first time coaching] ;)

--walking in Race for the Cure on Saturday

Even though I'm no where close to a wedding (or know that I ever will be) it's still fun to plan. I've become kinda obsessed with looking at shabby wedding blogs lately. Love this stuff.

10 things i learnt this weekend

1. Chick-fil-a should be sold at every high school football game. :)

2. Football bleachers need backs, right?

3. Not seeing Boyf on Saturday messes up my weekend, big time. But it does make me appreciate him more. :) [he was in atlanta for a concert]

4. Saturdays without him are basically kinda boring. haha!

5. Some people go a little tooo crazy over UT football...just saying *laughs*

6. I need a lot more willpower at the moment.

7. Life As We Know It, it's a cute film.

8. I stress myself out - even when it's not necessary.

9. Everything is great with me and Boyf, despite my stupidity sometimes.

relationships are hard, they just are

Why are relationships so hard? Or why are relationships so hard FOR ME? Do I make them that way?! I pulled back from boyf this week (I think I mentioned that in one of my last blogs)...& I'm not really sure why I did that (scared, confused, who knows). Things were going pretty perfect...but maybe that was the problem. I really like him, so it's a wittle scary. I just need to get over myself already, right?

missing boyf, kinda

This week: Has been so wonderful, being on fall break, not having to work (and I must say I've done a pretty good job at not even thinking about it, been so relaxing :). But I've had so much going on and been so caught up with not having to work and not being on a schedule, I've not seen Boyf one time! And it just hit me today that I really kinda miss him! *sigh*
Last night: Leslie and I had plans to paint pumpkins, which a lot of times our plans change. We winded up going to Pigeon Forge instead. We ate and shopped at gap, we each tried on about 20 pairs of jeans. How come it's so easy for guys to buy jeans, but for girls it's such a headache? Me and Leslie were having this conversation last night. Guys just have to grab their size and the wash they want, and wahlah...their done! Girls on the other hand, have to decide on a wash, then depending on the style you want (skinny, boot, curvy)..you might be a 2, 4, or 6, so you wind up having like 30 pairs of jeans to try on. It's neverending! So not fair! :)
Today: I'm home in cc with the pupsters and mum. She's on fall break this week too. While I've been relaxing this fall break, she's been working on my room here at home. She painted it a really pretty green'ish color. I love it! Oh, and my car windows are getting tinted today. So excited!

shopping day

Blogbugs! This fall break has been so so nice so far! I'm getting pretty spoiled, and I never wanna go back to work...ever!! But I don't even want to think about work right now, soooo moving on...today, I didn't sleep in. I actually woke up kinda early, to go shopping with mom and mamaw at the outlets. Going shopping with my mamaw is kinda wonderful! She keeps us laughing, plus she pays for everything. Haha! We had a yummy lunch at Conner's, she bought me a full tank of gas, 2 shirts, 2 dvds [Interview with a Vampire & The Corpse Bride], Frank and Sophie's Halloween costumes, and an ice cream cone [don't even let her know you like something, or she'll try to buy it for you] Haha! She's the best! Boyf sent me a text this afternoon letting me know how jealous he is--that he's working and I'm not! Haha! Poor thang! *winks* That was me last week, so I don't feel sorry for him. :)

Soooo this year, me and mom have had a hard time deciding what Frank and Sophie should be for Halloween. We thought about Frank being a hotdog, and Sophie being a ketchup bottle. But, today we found something pretty darn cute. Frank is going to be the "King of Hearts" and Sophie is going to be "Rabbit" off of Alice and Wonderland. We have to do some touchups with their costumes, but I think they're gunna look really cute! I love Halloween! Being in Target today with all the candy, and decorations, and costumes, I was so happy. LOL!!

1. Boyf and I have been dating 3 months, [as of yesterday]
2. He's wanting to go on a weekend trip to CHARLESTON [as soon as football season is over - of course] And I'm liking that idea a whole whole lot! :)
3. He scored some major bonus points last night when he picked me up...wearing Frye boots! *winks*
4. Baneberry has a restaurant called Angelo's, that is very yummy!
5. Jersey Shore is just wrong! Josh likes it, but I think it should be banned from tv! Haha!
6. I need to stop giving in to my insecurities sometimes.
7. A good long Sunday nap can sometimes save the day!
8. I don't get enough puppy loving anymore, and I miss it! :/
9. When people say/type "Sunday Funday", I wanna cringe! LOL! I'm not sure why.
10. Anything worth having is worth waiting for.

Recently I found this dress that I absolutely love! So sweet and simple, but the headpiece makes it look amazing! I love this look!

Blogbugs, I've been majorly slacking with my blog this week. So much has been going on, plus I've been a little under the weather... sometimes I forget how much I love to blog, until I go a couple of days without it.

1. Today I feel...really lazy and tired. I slept until 12. Woah! But I'm also really looking forward to seeing the boyf tonight.
2. Last night I...went to the AC game for a little bit. Nothing too exciting went on, unlike last week *winks*
3. My favorite music artist at the moment is...Erin McCarley
4. Currently I spend too little time...at the gym. But I'm on fall break, so this ends.
5. At the moment I really need to...clean my apartment (i've slacked with that this week too).
6. The next book I want to read...all of the Jane Austen books. I think I'll start with Pride and Prejudice.

3. Getting up at 5:30am on a Saturday just sucks. Sin!
4. I made the right decision in getting a Jetta. I love it! It's so fun to drive.
5. Feeling sick on the weekend is annoying.
6. Chilli's has a bean deep that is so yum [I wish I could think of what it's called haha]
7. Boyf occasionally wears glasses, and it's adorable!
8. He has a little jealous strick, that's also adorable!
9. Me and him both laugh til we cry when he tries to sing! LOL!
10. I'm sick of procrastinating gym.

hello sweet friday

Today: I had a very chilled and relaxed day at work. :) That's the good thing about teaching, you can allow yourself those from time to time *winks* A girl I work with loaned me a book, that "i just have to read." Haha! It's called Why Men Love Bitches. I can't put it down. Very interesting stuff.
Tonight: I went to the AC game. It was a pretty boring game! Final score 55-7, AC. BUT...the game livened up when "fatchaddy" came walking in with his new slutty girlfriend. Can you say BOOBS?! I mean seriously, she has em and isn't afraid to show em. haha! Good for him. :)
Tomorrow: Me, mom, and dad are headed to Atlanta to pick up my NEW CAR!! I decided to get a Jetta. I'm a sucker for Volkswagens I guess. So excited!

Today: I deep cleaned my classroom. And I've wanted to eat everything in sight! Not cool ugh!

Tonight: I had dinner with Leslie and Elizabeth at Bonefish. Mmm so good! And I shopped with Leslie at Target. Got a really cute headband, some cute earrings, and sunglasses that I'll probably take back. :)

Tomorrow: I'm having dinner with Boyf! And I can not wait to see him! I could really get use to this midweek date night we've been having lately. Makes the week so much shorter [and better] *winks*

1. Big Ed's pizza is SO yum, but they need bigger plates *laughs*

2. My 4 year old cousin taught me and the family a new joke Friday night....What's the difference between beer nuts and deer nuts? Beer nuts are $1.89 and deer nuts are just under a buck! wah wah wah :)

3. I really hate when the MAVS lose.

4. Vehicles are expeeeensive!

5. Boyf has the biggest cutest dimples, and for some reason I hadn't noticed them before, until now [i think that might've hurt his ego a little] haha!

6. The Brewery is fun on Saturday nights, and the food is sooo guuuud!

7. Boyf doesn't think i should get a 4runner, gas is too expensive. He has a good point, but I think I'll still get one. hehe!

8. Russell Brand's new movie, Get Him to the Greek, is a funny film.

9. Boyf looks amazingly adorable in hoodies!

10. I like buying fruit and vegetables and pretending that I eat all healthy, but they usually go to waste.

Hey blogaroooos! Ok, it's time to get serious about a new car. I love my bug so so much and hate to part without it, but it basically just has a lot wrong with it haha! I was thinking about a jetta, but I don't really like them so much anymore, the more I see them. I wanna go the complete opposite of what I have now, and get an SUV. I really love the foreign vehicles, but I also really love not having a big car payment. Haha! So...I'm thinking about a 4runner, black of course! :)
