Me today

Last night...I cooked for me and Josh, chicken. I dont mean to brag, but it was pretty dang good. We watched the new Pirates (which was surprisingly good), then we snuggled up and watched Scrooged. That's one of Josh's favorite Christmas movies. I just always remember it freakin me out as a kid. Lol. But I kinda enjoyed it last night. ;)
Today...our engagement pictures are ready!!! I can not wait to see them! :) Josh and I are either one photogenic, but out of like 200 pics, surely a couple will turn out. Haha! I'm thinking Christmas presents!

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. There are some weekends that you don't hate to see come to an end, gotta say this is one of those weekends. :/
2. Mine and Josh's weekend baneberry trip, winded up just being an overnight trip.
3. The Devil is a really stupid movie haha
4. Josh and I are already turning into an old married couple. We spent our Friday night looking at kitchen aid mixers. :)
5. I had my first dose of Christmas movies with my mom Saturday night: holiday in handcuffs, Christmas vacation, Christmas with the kranks
6. Josh bought me Love Actually. Such a great movie.
7. I got my Christmas decorations up!! Everything looks so cozy.
8. I really wanna go back to school so I can teach high school. I've thought about it for a while, but I really wanna just do it.
9. I'm getting anxious about getting our engagement pics back, should be any day.
10. 3 weeks til Christmas break!

Thanksgiving

Best thanksgiving for me, by far. And yeah, it probably has a lot to do with Josh. :) let's do a little thanksgiving favorites:

1. Favorite thanksgiving food this year...as always, turkey and dressing. I can't get enough.
2. Favorite tday dessert...peanut butter pie
3. This year I made...turkey sugar cookies. Though cute, not tasteful lol!
4. What I learnt this thanksgiving...I need a blender/mixer
5. Funnest moment....playing Apples to Apples! Oh I love that game! Play it. ;)
6. I wore...olive green pants, brown booties and a black top.
7. My family...really loved Josh! This was the first time a lot of them had met him.
8. New additions to the fam this year included...Josh, grandmother, baby bentley, and Jeremy.

Thankful List

I'm always thankful, everyday, every thanksgiving. But especially this year. This year I'm just so happy and content and blessed even more so. This thanksgiving I'm so thankful for:

...Josh. God sent me someone that goes above and beyond my expectations. And I can't imagine me with out him anymore. I heard Keith urban talking on the radio today about his wife Nicole. He said that marrying her was more than life-changing, it was life-giving. My thoughts about Josh exactly. :)
...my family. The perfect fit for me. :)
...awesome future in-laws that I really adore. And are so great to me and Josh!
...grandmother, a special person who was brought into my life this year.
...my parents for giving me and Josh our dream wedding.
...Sophie and frank for bringing even more love to our family.
...a good job, that allows me to buy all the things i need and want, that also has awesome hours and holidays off
...long hair! My hair finally grew out yayy!
...wedding planning, that so far, has been a breeze
...a wedding gown that's exactly what I had in mind

...a fiancé who is easy going and care free

Thanksgiving break!

Today I'm really thankful to be on a holiday, no work for me for 6 days. :) I plan on cleaning my apartment really good, cooking something for thanksgiving but I'm not sure what (maybe a dessert), eating a lot, putting up my Christmas tree, watching some movies, and most of all relaxing! Here are a list of some must see Christmas movies, that I'll probably start this week:

3. Love Actually (Josh's favorite)

5. Family Man

I'm really just dieing to put my tree up today, but Josh is totally against it lol. Plus he said he will help if I wait til Friday. :) so Friday it is.

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. Mimi's Cafe is ok, but definitely doesn't make my list of favorite restaurants.
2. Breaking Dawn, soooooo sooooo good! My favorite Twilight movie for sure.
3. Josh and I were blessed with perfect weather Saturday. I have such high hopes for our pictures.
4. I have a new respect for models. For me, being infront of the camera is the most awkward thing ever. Haha!
5. There is no way to keep a serious face around Josh. :) which is a good thing.
6. My new booties I got for the pictures, most painful shoes I own. I'm glad I didn't have to walk that much in them. :)
7. Dad brought his red vintage truck for me and Josh to use in our pictures! Soooo cute! And it was a special moment, talking about how I was brought home from the hospital in it too. Aw sweet! ;)
8. Mom and dad treated us to dinner after the pictures, Aubreys...mm!
9. Breaking Dawn, even better the 2nd time. Josh would kill me for saying so, but he really liked it too :)
10. My mom put mamaws tree up. I want my tree up too. :)

Perfect day

Today there is seriously just so much to be thankful for. As I was out running errands this morning (the band perry-all my life-playing on the radio, which was pretty perfect) I had one of those moments where it hit me at just how blessed I am. Its the perfect day, perfect song, and the weather is gorgeous, and I'm having engagement pictures done today!! I'm getting married to the most perfect guy in 4 months. I'm so incredibly happy. Just so happy.

It kinda gets on my nerves when I see people put, I love my life on fb and things like that. Lol! Im not sure why, just a pet peeve i guess, But I've gotta say it anyway, because its so true. I'm so happy with my life right now. It's nothing fancy, as a matter of fact, it's really simple. But at the same time, it's exactly what I want.

Ijams

So today my little bright idea for a "camping" engagement shoot fell through. Haha! But its all good, im kinda thankful for that. Weve decided to have them done at IJams. And that place is seriously gorgeous! :) plus I'm still gonna use a lot of the same props.

I'm also thankful for a 2nd great observation today. :) whew! Now I'm ready for the weekend! Twilight, pictures, and more twilight. It's gonna be an eventful weekend.

Me, today

1. Feeling...really sleepy. Rainy days will do that to a person. :)
2. Thankful for...family, and the fact that my family and Josh's family will be spending thanksgiving together this year.
3. Tonight...Josh and I ate at cheddars. Mm
4. Tomorrow...I'm getting observed, dun dun.
5. Excited about...the new Twilight movie! I'm seeing it Friday and Saturday lol. Its not like I'm not ok with that though :)

Engagement pics

Today: I FINALLY got an outfit for our engagement pictures! Yayy! Such a relief. I had in my mind what I wanted, but you know how that goes! You can never find what you want when you want it haha! So, my outfit is not really what I had pictured, but it's still cute and outdoorsy :) so, today I'm really thankful for finding something to wear.

Tonight: Josh surprised me with dinner! Just what I needed after a hectic day, a fun relaxing dinner and conversation with my man. I'm thankful for nice surprises too.

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. My first observation, success!!
2. My bridesmaids dresses...also a success! :) I looove them.
3. Our engagement pictures are next weekend, and I still don't have my outfit :/ I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
4. The outlets were even busier this weekend than last, people are getting a jump start on Christmas.
5. I have the best Mamaw in the world! She's so good to me.
6. She got me some burlap toms, my very first pair! But I can't have them til Christmas. Haha! (she also got mom a pair too, hers are also sooo cute...grey with grey strips). Christmas came a little early for us :)
7. Bath and body's gum drop candle smell heavenly.
8. My mom can make clipboards look adorable, just using scrapbook paper, ribbon, and glue. Perfect Christmas present for my school friends!
9. Chick fil a's peppermint milkshake is back! Yayy!
10. Josh and I had a twilight marathon this weekend, we are soo ready for breaking dawn. :)

News article and soph!

Today I'm so thankful for the article that was in the newspaper! It was just what my man needed...made him so happy. So proud of him, always.

I'm also thankful for my little pup, Sophie. She turned 6 yesterday! I feel like we've had her forever though. Papaw got her a rose and some doggy bones. ;) I wish I could be with that little snuggle bug always, but I know she is in good hands with her mamaws and papaws. ;) happy birthday Sophie bug!

My job

I know I complain about having to go to work, especially on Monday's ;) but I'm really so thankful for my job. I'm blessed with a job that allows me to take a personal day, with out a big fuss. A job with awesome hours, and time off for the holidays, and one that works perfectly around kiddies... (when we have them). :) I don't have the fever or anything though ;)

Weekends like this

I'm thankful for weekends like this one. Josh and I have had so much fun. Just shopping, eating, drinking coffees, holding hands, laughing, driving and walking around. I think I've had a big smile on my face for a solid 3 days. the holiday season is right around the corner...it's in the air.

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. It was kindof weird not having a football game to go to on Friday.
2. Me and Josh met the boys and traci at the brewery friday. Since they didn't have a game...they had to at least talk about football. :)
3. The mall is sooooo crowded right now. I think Christmas shopping has already begun.
4. We couldn't find anything there so we headed to the outlets, where it was equally as crowded.
5. Josh is fun to shop with. Probably cause he lets me pick out everything for him ;) he got a really outfit for our pictures.
6. Starbucks peppermint mocha is back, and still so awesome.
7. We stayed the night in bberry with his parents. And talked a lot about Hawaii! I wish we were leaving tomorrow! Sooo stinkin excited!
8. I think josh could spend an entire day in bass pro.
9. I got a cute frame at hobby lobby to use for our pics. And it was on sale!
10. Tomorrow I'm taking a me day. You need one of those sometimes.

I know this is kinda a silly thing to be thankful for, but I'm so thankful for Pinterest. I really can't imagine wedding planning without it. All of my cutest ideas for the wedding and engagement pictures have came from there. I've always heard horror wedding planning stories, but luckily...I haven't experienced that. My planning has been a breeze...thanks to pinterest.

So excited about today. Josh and I are going clothes shopping for our engagement pictures! This should be interesting :) So glad Josh is a happy go lucky type.

Thankful November

Since it's the month of thanksgiving, today I'm going to start writing about things I'm the most thankful for. Sometimes I feel like I take a lot of things for granted, I guess we all do.

Today I'm really thankful for Josh. He left me the sweetest card at my door last night. It was the perfect card actually. Just another reminder of why i want to marry him.

Trust me, I'm not always the easiest person, and I know I'm a big baby when I don't get my way, but he puts up with me. Haha! And always knows how to make it better. I'm so thankful to be marrying my best friend, the best thing that ever happened to me, my other half really. :) I'm reminded everyday why I want to be his wife.

Things I've learnt recently

1. Josh ended his season with a bang! Almost beating his rival team! :) man I wish he would've.
2. Jessica Simpson is pregnant. ;)
3. My cousin is also expecting...so exciting! Baby fever is definitely in the air. ;)
4. Starbucks cafe mocha is delicious. It's a mixture of coffee and hot chocolate.
5. Waiting til last minute to buy pumpkins is not the best idea.
6. Traci and I made the cutest little vampires, little edwards. :)
7. Sophie and Frank pulled it off again. They were the cutest nurse and doctor I've ever seen.
8. I miss those pups so much. I need to see them more.
9. Paranormal 3 was not as bad as I thought it would be.
10. Bel Air Grill is pretty good.
11. My first observation of the year is over, and I feel pretty good about it.
12. Bridesmaids is funny, but I was a little disappointed in it. Josh cracked up lol.
13. I got 1 trick or treater this year.
14. Josh really concentrates when carving a pumpkin. Lol! It was adorable! :)
15. Hooters is exactly what I had it pictured to be. Haha!
