Even though the Oscars were pretty terrible, I love seeing the outfits! These are my favorites, I especially luv Scarlett! :) So chic! And her hair looks amazing right?

11 things i learnt this weekend

1. Girl Scout cookies don't hang around long *smile* Thin Mints and Tagalongs are a little slice of Heaven, don't ya think?

2. I can't stop listening to the Dixie Chicks, I had almost forgot how much I luv them.

3. My hair is getting so long, for me anyway :)

4. The proactive bodywash is great! It's minty. And it makes my skin feel soooo clean. And smooooooth!

5. My old boyfrienddd, got married last weekend. It reminded me, once again, at the difference a year can make. And I thanked God, once again, that I wasn't the one he married. Haha!

6. It's hard for me to not be productive on warm sunny days, in your face laziness!

7. I introduced BoyF to Cafe4 last night, win!

8. BoyF is a Bob Dylan fan (he can sing just like him too, hahaha)

9. Shoney's breakfast is yum!

10. I drink a lot more coffee when I'm with BoyF.

11. Sunday breakfast is becoming a ritual for us, and I adooooooorrrrreeee it! I'm sure the waitresses hate us though haha!

soooo sleepy! thankful thursday

Hiii darlings! Here lately, I've been so sleepy! I'm blaming it on a couple of things: lack of exercise, lack of vitamins, and too many carbs. Today I'm thankful for the rain. It's rained so hard. But I have really loved it. It's so peaceful (and good for sleeping) haha! :) I'm also thankful for BoyF's dad having a good recovery from his surgery, that was this morning. Needless to say, I haven't got much BoyF time this week. :/ So glad tomorrow is Friday.

spring weather, I'm ready!

I don't realize how much I miss spring, until it gets here. I mean, not that it's here yet, and we might even get more snow, but the last couple of days have been incredible. Warm. Sunny. Upper 60s. Love it (the babies do too) *smile*

golfing on presidents day!

This Monday has been the best day!! Seriously, I could live this day over and over. I got to BoyF's around 9:30, and we headed to B.Berry for a little golfing with his mom and dad. But on the way we stopped at Bass Pro. Normally, that's not my idea of fun haha, but being in there with BoyF...it's a little different ;) We walked around, I learned a little bit about hunting and hunting gear haha, checked out some cool boats. It's actually really neat in there.

So the weather was awesome, minus the extreme winds, but it felt great. So we drove around for a while, he showed me some historic little mayberry places that were pretty awesome, then we headed to B.Berry for golf. I was a little nervous about it, cause I'm definitely not in my comfort zone with golf. I had never played before or been around it ever. But it was actually so much fun!! I wasn't really great in the beginning, but I ended strong. BoyF's mom is a good teacher...so is Boyf, he helped me too. I really wanna learn to play, so I can beat him. :) Plus, it's something fun for us to do together. :)

10 things i learnt this weekend :)

1. Garnier Fructis, sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner, makes my hair too flat.
2. As much as I love black clothing, I have way too much of it. I need to brighten up my wardrobe a little.
3. Litton's has this amazing cheesecake called day and night. Luv it!
4. My friend Meredith is one of the cutest pregnant people I've ever seen! Adorable.
5. Ihop has too many yummy options on their menu (they have great coffee too)
6. BoyF's truck isn't as hard to drive as I thought it would be.
7. I love driving around with BoyF on Sundays. Spring is just around the corner!
8. Under Armor shirts and pants are soo expensive. I want some of both though. :)
9. Sour apple candy rings are my candy of choice right now.
10. Sometimes you just have to draw a line.

Hi darlings! Happy Friday to yah. So happy it's Friday. So I just realized that I didn't blog yesterday, and I missed Thankful Thursday. Oops! Guess I was too busy watching Brothers and Sisters with mom. *laughs*

With it being Valentine's Day week, and love has been in the air, I have to say that this week I'm mostly thankful for love, and being in love, and my relationship with BoyF.

This Valentine's Day has been truely special. Actually this whole week has been really special. Mine and Boyf's relationship is 7 months old now. Happiness! I'm so blessed to be in such a great loving relationship with such an awesome guy. I feel our relationship growing every day, I just love it, and him! And here's just a few reasons why:

1. He's honest
2. He makes me feel safe and secure.
3. He always opens the car door for me.
4. His southern drawl :)
5. The way he says grandmother.
6. The way his hair will sick straight up, or however I want it to go. *big smile*
7. He wears Frye boots!
8. He always has gum.
9. He is very kind and tender-hearted
10. He isn't smothering :)
11. He puts me in a good mood the second I hear his voice.
12. He knows all the best restaurants.
13. He's so supportive.

Brothers and Sisters

My mom has got me addicted to Brothers and Sisters. Yesterday, we watched hours upon hours, on Netflix. I don't know how I've missed this show all this time. So good!

Valentine's Day

Last night: Ok, so Valentine's Day didn't go quite like I had planned in my mind, but what does right? BoyF is still sick. :/ Bless his wittle heart! He offered to take me out still, but I didn't want him to feel obligated, and of couse he did with it being Valentine's Day. Sooo after us going back and forth back and forth trying to decide what to do...I winded up picking up a pizza at Papa Murphy's (no I didn't get the heart shaped one haha), and just hanging out at BoyF's. This actually is what I prefer anyway, just being with him. He even let me watch the Bachelor. :) And had me the sweetest card, and 2 charms for my pandora necklace. Ohhhh, he is good!! I made him a book, 52 things i love about you, with a deck of cards. He loved it. It was a great valentine's...

10 things i learnt this weekend

1. My pupp, Sophie, doesn't love me as much as she used to *sigh* Guess cause I'm not around her as much. :(

2. Sometimes it's ok to sleep 16 hours, it's good for the body and mind.

3. The more I hang out with BoyF's family, the more I adore them.

4. Few things are better than hearing I love you from the one you love.

5. BoyF woke up REALLY sick this am, eeeks! He thinks he ate too much last night.

6. Taking a women's daily vitamin does give me more energy, I think.

7. A clean apartment always puts me in a better mood.

8. I need a new vacuum cleaner.

9. There is a Bachelor video game, no joke.

10. I'm more than ready for this school year to be over.

Today has been the best day I've had in a long time. Maybe everrr! :) First off, it was a snow day, no school! That's always grand. I luv just getting to do my own thing. Which today included sleeping in (til noon), doing some laundry, straightening up my apartment, coffee at starbucks, and a trip to Target, and chatting on the phone. Too bad I can't do that every day. :)

Tonight, I saw BoyF. Seeing him is what made this day so great. It was the best night we've had together since we've been dating.... I wore my new poncho that BoyF really liked on me for some reason, even though he did keep callin me Sherlock Holmes. Haha!! We were both wanting chicken salad, so we went to one of the best places for that, O'Charleys. We had the greatest, most lovely conversation. And we finally told each other just how we feel! Love. I'm on cloud 9, to say the least. Our relationship has moved slow, but I love where it's going.

Today I,

- got to work a little late

- have had a frustrating day. to say the least

- tried a new special k cereal, granola (pretty good)

- checked out ticket prices for the Amos Lee concert

- have made several "to do" lists

- thought about BoyF a lot. miss him, bad, on days like today

- went to the mall

- thought about reading some chapters in my book, but it didn't happen

- watched the bachelor
- missed BoyF (guess I already said that tho)

- talked to him on the phone for 2 hours. :))) *big smile*

5. The new event center in Clinton is really nice.

6. Scrapbook paper can make cute place mates.

7. BoyF loves green beans *laughs*

8. I need to cut back on my carb intake. :/

9. The new Volkswagen Beetle is not as rounded on top, more flat. I like it ok.
10. Green Bay Packers win the Superbowl (BoyF was for the Steelers).

Me, today!

So I'm thinking this special k diet is going to work. Or at least make me feel better. I've felt so much more energetic today (it probably has something to do with the fact, too, that I've not had any cokes). But either way, I'm actually liking it - even though I am getting made fun of at work. *laughs*

Today, I:

- woke up to the cutest little pupp everr, sophie.

- haven't drank any cokes (actually I haven't drank much of anything today) eeeks!

- talked about last night's episode of The Bachelor.

- cleaned my classroom (with help from the kiddies - as BoyF calls them).

- actually learned some things about all the u.s presidents, as I was teaching about them.

- made chocolate pudding

- made some grape jello

- went to take a nap, then decided to be productive instead (that hardly ever happens)

- enjoyed the rain

- google'd cute hair styles (love the low chignon style above)
