This morning....I got a surprise phone call from Josh. *big smile* He never calls me in the mornings, so it was a sweet surprise and started the day off just perfect. I swear, he can make me so giddy at times. Love that man of mine. He truly makes me feel so blessed, everyday.
Excited to report....I HAVE LOST 10 POUNDS!! A co-worker of mine brought her weighing scales to work for me. I couldn't believe it (I've even kinda cheated too).
Currently....doing laundry & debating on what to eat for supper (as if I have so many options). Ha!
Loving on...my new Forever 21 jacket. It's the first jacket I've loved that's not long too.
Favorite color at the moment...gold! Which is why our wedding color has somehow became gold. I originally wasn't going to have a specific color, just more of a theme (vintage/rustic shabby chic). But gold it is.
Valentine's day plans....Josh and I have decided on a very low key valentine's this year. There's so much to pay for right now with the wedding & Hawaii. Maybe I'll just cook for him. :)

Ceremony Music
Tonight...josh is sick! He thinks he caught a bug. So I've been picking apart my to-do. Tonight my mission was to start finding a song list for the ceremony. The Birdsongs are a Christian band out of cc that are totally amazing, theyve got some songs on Love89, and can basically play anything and everything and all instruments ( you can listen to them on youtube). But anyway, they're performing our ceremony, and will basically be playing a lot of their own instrumental stuff, but I wanna pick some songs that are kinda special to me and josh for walking down the aisle, lighting the candles, and moments like that. One song for sure is All Your Life, by the Band Perry. This song is so perfect, makes me cry everytime I hear it. If you've never heard it, you got to. It's the sweetest song. I'm also thinking of doing something with Ive Got This Friend, by the Civil Wars. Another great one. I just need one to walk down the aisle to.?.....
Tomorrow...errands errands errands! :)
Tomorrow...errands errands errands! :)
Oh Monday Monday.
Ok so it's Monday. And I just can't get with it on Mondays. There's just something about them. Im usually really sleepy, my planning time kinda crappy, it means that i wont be seeing josh for 2 more days, and I hate the fact that the weekend seems a million miles away. Mondays are what i like to call jeans and hoody type days (yep thats me right now). So comfy! Anyway, so here's my to do list for the week (starting tomorrow) *winks*
...call groomsman, let them know what they need for the wedding
...find monogrammed napkins
...pick out music for the ceremony
...find the jewelry that I'm going to wear
...call White Lace about my dress
...buy chalk board and frames at hobby lobby
...buy stamps for invites
...decide about wedding programs. Have them or not? I kinda think they are a waste of money. But is it tacky not to have them? Haha! Maybe I can come up with an alternative. :)
....buy guest book stones
...& enjoy every minute!
:) happy Monday y'all!

10 things I learnt this weekend
1. Now that my hair is long, I'm on a mission to get pretty waves. #flatironstyle
2. Finding zero carb--zero sugar foods is nearly impossible.
- dill pickles
- pork rynes
- fat free jello
- bacon
- sausage
- eggs
- cheese
- meats (ham,chicken,pork,steak,etc)
- broccoli
- tea
- coffee
- diet soda (yep that's pretty much it)
3. I ate chicken wings for the first time. Not a fan of the Brewery's hot and spicey sauce, but the wings were good.
4. Don't be Afraid of the Dark, starring Katie Holmes is a really silly movie. Probably wouldn't waste my time with that one. :)
5. It's nice going to the same church as the boys and Traci...lunch is always entertaining.
6. Josh is starting to Ike my diet. I'm a cheap date these days. #kidsmenu
7. I found a grooms cake on Pinterest that would be so perfect for Josh. A big ol can of Copenhagen. Haha! But as tempting as it is, I think we'll stick with a football cake instead. *winks*
8. I found the bridesmaid's jewelry! It's real danty, and I think it'll go great with their dresses.
9. The Civil Wars have become one of my favorite bands. They are definitely on the wedding song list.
10. I'll be tieing the knot in1 month, 23 days, 2 hours, and 35 minutes. #weddingcountdownapp

Birthday Celebration
Last night...me, Josh, Justin, Matt, Melissa, Traci, Mamaw, Papaw, Rick, and dad (and of course mom) met at Cracker Barrell to celebrate moms bday! I think its just this time of year, but here lately Cracker Barrell has become my favorite place! Its so cozy and me and Josh are crazy about the pinto beans. Last night I just got a big bowl of them. :) but anyway. It was so much fun being with everyone last night. The older I get, the more I cherish those times when our whole family is together. It really doesn't get much sweeter. Mom loved all her presents! I got her a book this year, If I Could Keep You Little. It kinda fits perfectly right now. And we all got to enjoy the strawberry icecream cheesecake that Traci picked up. She loved it, we all loved it. It was so guuuud! Mamaw sat beside Josh, bug mistake. Lol! She likes to tell him how much I like him, and how happy he makes me. Haha! Gotta love mamaws...
Hope you had the best birthday mom! xxx
Happy weekend all!

Happy Bday Mom
Today is my moms bday!! HAPPY HAPPY BDAY MOM! I know everyone says they have the best mom in the whole world, but I really do. The best in the whole WIDE world. She's truly a special person (anyone could tell you all about it). She's the kind of mom that goes above and beyond - way beyond. The kind that is usually putting herself last (even when she shouldn't). I only hope I can, one day, be the kind of mom she is. Love you mom. Happy birthday!
Looking forward to celebrating with the fam tonight.

Jus some weekly fluff
Last night...I met Leslie at Outback. And I still ate good! That's a big accomplishment considering that the bread, the baked potato, and the ceasar salad are the main reasons I love it there so much. Im just so glad you can have steak on the diet I'm on. Speaking of diets...I'm surprisingly doing really great with this one (& feeling so great). Carbs and sugar are still my worst enemies, but I'm sticking with it! The wedding and Hawaii are big motivators! I also watched the Bachelor last night...gosh those girls are dumb! Oh, and the biggie...I finally decided on the groomsman attire! Now just to find it :)
Tonight...I'm cooking for Josh. Something healthy, so he probably won't like it. Haha! Sorry babe.

2 months 2 months!
Ok so I'm getting married in 2 months (to the day)!....2 months... I will be married. No longer single. No longer thinking just about & for myself. I will no longer live by myself just doing my own thing. I'lll no longer be a "Price" (that's the weirdest). But I've never been more sure of anything in my whole life. I just wish I was getting married tomorrow. I can't wait to be married to Josh, the most awesome guy.

Weekly Fluff
Tonight...josh stopped by for a surprise visit! It was good to see him, even though Ive kinda been sick today. He always makes me feel better. We went and ate at salsaritas (um yeah I slipped a little on my diet-but I'll just pick it back up tomorrow). It's all guuuud. :)
Feeling...blah blah blah! I hate being sick (i know josh hates it too) ha! Im not myself when i feel bad. But I must say my bed has never felt so good.
Currently watching....the news - but only because I'm waiting for The King of Queens to start.
Currently watching....the news - but only because I'm waiting for The King of Queens to start.
Biggest accomplishment today...I got all of my wedding favors stamped. :) I'm not the best stamper, I had to throw at least 10 away (haha) but the rest turned out good.
Happy about...my shower invitations! Andrea sent me the preview today, they're perfect. Oh, and our wedding invitations came this week too!!
Tomorrow...hopefully I'll feel better and can get a lot of wedding errands done. Where is March already?!

Marriage Counseling. Round 1
Josh and I had our first marriage counseling session tonight...& I worried over it for nothing. Wayne is awesome, and I know he is going to make our wedding all the more special. We're gonna be having a total of 6 sessions, 1 will be with just Josh and another one with just me. I'm so glad we're doing this! It's important. The only time I got shy was when Wayne asked me what I love most about Josh. Its hard for me to put it into words. But Josh, on the other hand, he is amazing with all the lovey dovey. :) he made me blush. Have I said lately how madly in love I am with him? ;)
Tonight Josh and I learnt that we need to continue having a stress-free engagement. :) Wayne was telling us that this is a happy and memorable time too, so we need to enjoy it and not get too caught up on flowers and things of that nature. We also learnt how bad we want to find a church of our own.

Bed Bath & Beyond
Today has been awesome! It's amazing what all you can get done when you have the day off from work. This morning I met mom and mamaw to get some measurements at the tea room and amphitheater. We were able to do everything we needed to at the amphitheater, but the tea room was closed :/...for Martin King. But looking through the windows (haha) now that we've got all our ideas in mind...it's just so perfect for everything we are wanting to do. I'm soooo ready for it to get here already :)
Josh and I registered at Bed Bath & Beyond today too. I love how excited he gets, he's like a little kid in a candy store...it's adorable! We registered for some great stuff, plus they were able to transfer our belk registry over. We were there for like 2 hours, which seems to be our average registry time (it takes longer than you think). Then we went to to Silver Spoon for supper. I forgot how much I love that place. I also talked him into going in Bliss Home. I wish we could afford that whole store...they have awesome home decor! That's the first time I've been there. Very cool stuff.
Tomorrow we have our first marriage counseling session...I've got the butterflies a little. Haha!

10 things I learnt this weekend
1. Josh and I had so much fun house hunting Saturday. We drove by the one house that we both love so much...it's even greater in person. Seriously both of us, are just in love.
2. The cleansing diet I'm on has been the greatest thing ever. I feel so much better, and it's just been 3 days.
3. Muscle Milk is really tasty and so filling. Warm lemon water, however, is not. Blah!
4. Justin, Matt, McKeethan, and traci came over and watched the play off games with me and josh. Well I might've just caught up on Fishdome, instead of watching the game. But it was a nice surprise visit.
5. Paleo's grill has the best citrus chicken...so mmmm!
6. I am so proud of my man tonight. His football banquet was a huge success! Just so proud of him! Love that boy!
7. Raspberry Italian dressing is awesome, and fat free.
8. Due to my lack of channels, yet again, I've been forced to watch things I normally wouldn't. I've learnt that The Closer is a pretty good tv show.
9. I really wanna see War Horse, I just hope it's not too sad.
10. I'm getting married in 68 days!!

Snow Day
First snow day of the school year...and this girls and boys, is one reason why it's great to be a teacher :) theres not much more than a dusting here in knoxville - but its just enough to make everything so lovely.
Today I've got lots of errands to run. I'm on the hunt for several wedding things (mostly for the party favors), and I wanna get a new outfit for Josh's football banquet that's Sunday. But the big biggie for the day...I've started a cleansing diet! So theres no laying around on the couch eating junk food, like josh and i usually do on days like this.haha! I went and got all my ingredients at kroger last night, & I'm sitting here right now drinking my muscle milk, which isn't too bad actually. Stephanie tried this same diet and lost 10 pounds in 10 days. I'm hoping for the same results, my wedding dress is suppose to be here at the end of the month. And I really wanna be ready for that fitting. :)
Oh,& im pretty sure I found my dream house...& for sale! This house is a combination of old and new, its a good size (not a starter but thats one thing i love about it too- we could live there forever), it's in an awesome location, josh drove by it yesterday and he is in love too...fingers crossed that everything works out with it. But if not, I'm still just happy that I'm fixing to live somewhere with my baby.
I hope everyone has a reindeer full weekend! I mean, wonderful! Lol! (gotta love technologies random words they just throw in sentences sometimes)

House
Today has been a really long but amazingly perfect day. After school I met josh in C to look at a house. The awesome news is...I LOVED this house. It's full of character, like a little cottage almost, but the key word being "little". Josh loves old houses like me, but he thinks its too small (that's the sad news). And I can see that. it is tiny. So we're gonna keep looking - but with this one still in mind :)
After looking at the house, we went to Denise's (one of the ladies giving our shower). Of course her house made our "little" cottage seem all the smaller haha! We hung out there for a while and talked, took the grand tour, and laughed a lot. Denise is so hysterical. Then us ladies (me denise janie and cindy) went out for supper at Littons to talk fun shower talk. Cindy and Denise are going to be giving us an amazing shower. I can not wait.
My mom (and dad) are on the ball with wedding stuff. My mom gave my dad a clip board of things he needs to make for the wedding (pictures included haha). How much you wanna bet he has everything made by next weekend? Lol! Mom has pictures printed out of everything me and her need to start buying/making too. Me and her went back and forth today, on the phone, about flowers and arrangements...and I'm sooo happy to say (&i know Leah is too) our final flower order has been sent. I can't count how many times I've changed things with Leah. But everything is perfect now.
Mom has the wedding menu under-way as well. :) everything is oming along, and pretty fast too. :)

Wedding fluff
Today: Has been sooo productive as far as wedding planning. We found a preacher...Pastor Wayne! Josh called and asked him today. And we have our first per-marital counseling session next Tuesday. :) woah! Meredith is going to keep the guest book, Steph called and we talked plans about a personal shower, and dad found exactly what I wanted to put the wedding cake on. It's kinda funny. Mom just showed him a picture of it on Saturday, and he had it by this afternoon. Super Dad!
Tomorrow: Josh and I are going to look at a house after school! I'm soooo excited. It's an old house that's been gutted out and redone. Lots of character. *fingers crossed* it's one of two that we've got our eye on. :)

To-do
Last week I made a mistake of making a to-do list of EVERYTHING i need to do for the wedding. Well maybe not a mistake because I needed to do that, but i got a little overwhelmed, to say the least. But then i made a list of things to do that week, and that was much better :) and i did awesome with my to do list. I got everything done that I needed to. So that's what Im gunna do every week. Instead of turning into bride zilla with the millions of things I have to do (I haven't had a bride zilla moment, yet - thank goodness)..I'll just focus on a couple of things every week. This weeks to do list:
1. Supper with Janie and Denise to talk about the shower
2. Find monogrammed napkins
3. Order stamps for the wedding invitations
4. Go look at the house in C with josh
5. Call about the wooden barrels
6. Buy more doilies
7. Find small clothes pins
8. Stamp party favors
9. Send Eric my song list for reception
10. Get announcement for paper ready to go
11. Register at bed bath and beyond
Have a great week everyone!

10 things I learnt this weekend
1. Josh and I finally got registered!! It was just too much fun! Josh was as giddy as me. Lol
2. Belk is a great place to start, I love everything on our list.
3. I was looking at our online registry...we have really expensive taste apparently! Haha! Some things might have to be redone, I'm not so sure someone would buy us $250 sheets. Or a $250 coffee maker. :) or a $110 iron.
4. I really love our comforter! Plaid, very rustic. Abd josh picked it out. Mom made the comment that our list looks like we are moving to a log cabin, lol! That's basically the look we are going for...mom! ;)
5. I had to register at target by myself...josh had a funeral to go to. Everything I registered for there is mostly home decor. Lamps, shades, shower curtain, pic frames, etc.
6. I forgot how great calhouns on the river is. Great atmosphere. And we had a great time with Justin Matt and traci...talking football of course.
7. We found Matt a girlfriend, or should I say a couple of girlfriends. ;)
8. Church was great this morning. I always feel so much better after we go too. If we weren't moving to C, then SHeights is where we'd go.
9. We had lunch at Aubrey's, never disappoints. Where the guys continued their football talk.
10. Invitations are on their way!!!! March will be here before you know it. :)

Food menu
Ok so ive decided that not only has this week been insanely busy but, I'm pretty much betting that every week until march will be too. Josh made the comment last night that with everything going on (from planning, to looking at houses, to the wedding, to hawaii, to football) by mid April things should be kinda normal haha. Today alone, I've sent out like 10 emails, all dealing with wedding stuff! Insane.
We've been going back and forth about the food menu for about a month now. But I think we've finally decided....instead of a sit down menu or finger foods, I really wanna have some amazing desserts, lots of little cakes and pastries, and different kinds of coffees, cappuccinos, and teas, and maybe hot chocolates depending on the weather. We will probably throw some cheeses in there too, with crackers. I've wanted to do this from the get-go but I was afraid people would be expecting real food, or at least finger foods cause that's how most weddings are. I didn't really know if Josh would like the idea either, but as soon as I said "coffees" he was in. He is a little addicted (as in he has a cup in his hand almost all day long kindof addicted). So I should've known he'd be in love with the idea, his dad is the same way. Give them coffee, and they are happy. But we're also going to push the wedding a little later too. Thoughts?

Mid Week Fluff
Currently watching....The Big Bang Theory ( somehow this has turned into one of my favorite shows) - probably because of my lack of channels ;)
Currently obsessing over....log cabins (I want one bad). Actually I'm obsessing over everything and anything rustic (i dare say, even deer antlers) haha! It's amazing how your taste changes as you get older. I kinda like it. Plus, I don't think josh wouldve been happy with my pink and flower decor I have right now. This will fit us both perfectly.
Excited about....registering this weekend -finally! And really excited about the parties coming up (I think I've mentioned that already though) ;) everything is happening all at once, and so fast. I'm loving it. Now a personal shower in the works! Yayyy!
Surprisingly loving...instagram.
Currently spending too much time.....browsing around on pinterest. But who isn't these days?
Baby fever? Possibly, but one step at a time :))) weve got a wedding to get through first. I don't think we will wait too long though.

First day back to the real world...
Today, I....
- woke up at 6:30 am, that's right AM! For the last week it's been more like PM ;)
- saw snow flurries on my way to work (wish they would've waited one more day)!
- havent been as sleepy as I thought I'd be
- was a hair away from crying this morning with a co-worker who lost a dear aunt on Christmas eve...
- realized (despite my effort not too) I really take my family and our good health for granted
- worked on getting addresses together...Josh's family friend, Denise, is giving us a shower next month
- got to leave work early (wish that could happen on a daily basis)
- made my weekly stop at hobby lobby
- went to the grocery store, and shopped pretty healthy
- ate at chick fil a
- took the christmas tree down (I could only bring myself to put ornaments away yesterday)
- read a book (I have enough new ones to last the whole year)
- and made a wedding to-do-list...can you believe ill be married in 80 days? I'm so ready. :) I mean, not ready ready (there's so much to do) but ready as in, I'm so ready to begin a new life with josh.

10 things I learnt this weekend
1. Amos Lee used to be an elementary school english teacher (makes me love him even more)!
2. I love my iPad cover. It makes the iPad much easier to use.
3. I want almost everything in Williams Sonoma. Josh and I spent a lot of time in there the other day. But I think it's too expensive to actually register there. :/
3. Fishdom might just be the most addictive game ever.
4. Josh can really pull off chucks! Nothing cuter than a manly man in chucks lol
5. I love my crock pot! I think I'll start cooking everything in it :)
6. There was no better way to bring in the new year than a quiet lazy movie night with just me and my man :)
7. One Day is a depressing movie. Not one of my faves.
8. Taking down Christmas decorations and christmas trees is so sad.
9. Today is my last day of Christmas break, that's sad too.
10. We think papaw has broken his foot, but he is refusing to go see a doctor. Typical man.
I hope everyone has had a terrific weekend! Happy happy 2012!!
