Memorial Day...

- I got up early
- the BoyF picked me up early, zzz
- (the boys and Traci were late)
- drove BoyF's truck (just down the road) haha
- we all played golf in bberry with his parents
- it was really hooottttt
- regreted not having a swim suit
- Traci and I road around on golf carts most of the day, and cheered the guys on :-) Matt and boyfriend played awesome, Justin did better towards the end ha!
- ate some delicious hot dogs for lunch
- talked about football for 10 hours straight haha, but seriously :-)
- almost went to the outlets
- stopped at the roadhouse on the way back home...so good!
- watched the bachelorette with bf, and then sleeeept, like a baby!

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. When I need to, I can have my car washed in 10 minutes. Booyah!
2. I really like my brotherseses new house. It's got lots of really cute potential!
3. It's worth going to Littons just for the cheesecake.
4. The boyfriend confirmed what I already knew, he is the sweetest and most thoughtful boyfriend in the whole world :))))
5. He surprised me with a dozen beautiful red roses last night ahh!
6. We had another fun night in Baneberry.
7. We all laughed a lot watching, Just Friends. It's hilarious.
8. David Grey's new song, This Years Love, is an amazing song.
9. Five Guys (burgers and fries) is so good. They give you enough fries to feed a whole army.
10. Bathing suits are wayyy too expensive! But I really love the one I got...that was on sale :)

Adorable and the waitress

So the other night (Wednesday night), the BoyF and I had supper at Outback. Love that place, anyway, the funniest thing happened. We sit down, order our drinks, and the waitress starts telling my bf what a sweet baby face he has (while laughing and touching his shoulder of course) hahaha! I'm not the jealous type, so I don't think anything by it. Then....well, here's our convo when I see her in the restroom. LOL

Waitress: I didn't offend your company when I told him he has a baby face, did I?
Me: Oh no, he gets that everywhere we go.
Waitress: Awww! Is he your boyfriend?
Me: Yes
Waitress (while completely ignoring that I just said YES): He is sooo adorable, and I just love his dimples.
Me: Yeah, I know right.

Haha :) that's my man. Me and him got a kick out of it. And now Ive started telling him how adorable he is lol!!

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. This was a wonderful weekend, the kind I really dont want to end! :-) well technically I don't want any of my weekends to end, but this one for sure...its been so fun. And the weather, gorgeous!!
2. Boyf and I spent all day yesterday in bberry with his parents, which is always a win!
3. Bf is a little dangerous on a golf cart :)
4. A black snack got in front of us on the cart and I acted like a typical girl when he got out and tried picking it up :) those things move so fast!
5. I really need an IPad, even though Im sure I would waste way too many hours of my life on one.
6. I found a new favorite at angelos, grilled lemon pepper chicken mmm!
7. BoyF and his dad act exactly like my brothers and my dad when discussing football haha
8. Waffle House might be a little redneck, but I still love it.
9. Laying out by the pool today was exactly what I needed...a tan! It's pretty bad when bf is darker than me haha.
10. I got a nice surprise visit/lunch from my friend Melissa and her husband this afternoon, so sweet.

Bf, cheddars, and signs

Last night...finally got to see the bf on a week day. Since his new job, we haven't been able to. And I almost forgot how much I love those dates. They're really the bestestest, they just make my week better. It was so nice. We had dinner at cheddars, which is quickly becoming my favorite place. We shared an order of onion rings, fried chicken salad (ohh highly recommended) and the monster cookie. Mmmyum! Then we relaxed and watched Signs, with Mel Gibson.
This morning: I woke up feeling great and ready to take on the day!

Tonight: is definitely gonna be a movie night.

Gps- false alarm

Yesterday I was cleaning out my car, and look at what I found...my gps! :) it had fell off the windshield and was under my seat. Shew! Happy! I had just figured out how to work it :)

Stolen gps and Thankful Thursday

1. Last night...I watched American Idol with mom. We like to make fun of Haley. She needs to go! So full of herself!
2. This morning...started off rough. I realized someone stole my gps out of my car! So. Not. Cool. I last remember seeing it 2 days ago. I'm thinking it happened at my apartment Tuesday night, or while I was in Verizon, or at kroger. Ugh! Makes me maaaad (think. happy. thoughts)
3. Today I feel...(after my frustration went away) hopeful. I got a positive email this am :-)
4. Tonight...I'm seeing BoyF. Looking really forward to it.

--got asked out by the Verizon guy haha
--watched twister, love that movie :-)
--cooked hamburger helper, true story *laughs*
--realized that internet is a must, I need it back ASAP!

10. My phone officially died this weekend (thank goodness it's under warranty, and I have a nice headpiece to use while I'm waiting for the new one haha).

I love these dinning rooms. They are casual, but still so elegant. *Note: I have the chairs in the bottom picture. So cute, but not comfortable at all.

10 things i learnt this weekend

1. The BoyF is soooo extremely busy these days, but I'm ok with that.
2. I'm currently obsessed with happy floral dresses (just wish I could find one that's actually flattering:)
3. Going the Distance, with Drew Barrymore and Christina Applegate, is pretty good (a little much though).
4. I love the little stuffed dragon boyfriend got me.
5. Sometimes it's ok to walk out of a restaurant right after ordering *haha*!
6. Downtown Brewery has the best hawaiian pizza. Seriously! So so good!
7. Having dinner at the brewery with my brothers and the boyfriend = a little more football talk than most people could handle ;)
8. Mother's Day was a lot of fun with the boyfriend and his family (Angelo's had the most delicious Mother's Day dinner, mmmm).
9. There should be a set of ground rules for Mamaws, before they can be around the boyfriend, at least for my mamaw...just saying!
10. Most of my biggest fears are really irrational.

Thankful Thursday

Actually my mom and I were talking just this afternoon about what a good year this has been for me... so much to be thankful for!

• #1. Boyfriend - I always have to mention him, because he is such a big healthy part of me. He came into my life at EXACTLY the right time.


• #2. Bf's big job - Even though I've been torn in two different directions through the whole process, I'm so thankful that he got a job that makes him happy and that he is so passionate about. I've been a pretty proud girlfriend this week haha! ;)


• #3. Independence- So happy I've always been the independent type, cause it's really going to come in handy haha!

so long April...

Adios April, been nice knowing yah! If I could sum up that month in one word, I would have to say FOOTBALL! Good thing I like it. ;) Cause it has consumed my life, my relationship with the boyfriend, and all my conversations with my brothers *big laughs*


And now May has finally arrived! :))))) I have waited for this month for sooooo long! Because this means that school is almost out! It's been a rough one. So needless to say, this month I'm ready to wind it down, look for a job for next year, work out hard, and be on summer break! Of course, I don't know if football will let up this month...but I don't think that will ever happen haha!

10 things i learnt this weekend

1. The Royal Wedding was amazing! And so was Kate Middleton's dress (love that pretty lace).
2. There's just something about spring/warm weather that makes me want to rearrange my apartment.
3. The flowers I planted for my little tiny porch, put me in a good mood.
4. I got a rug at Marshalls for $5, that I love
5. I need a new bathing suit, preferably strapless
6. Insanity (workout video), is just that, INSANE! I've been sore for 3 days now.
7. Here After is an interesting movie...but the ending is absolutely horrible! Don't even waste your time.
8. FooFighters new cd is really great!
9. Watching Poker on tv is soooooooo boring.
10. Tomorrow is the BIG football news day! Kinda dreading it :/
