Happy Friday!

Hello Darlings...(even though I love a good sleep-in) I have cleaned my apartment & done laundryy & washed dishes & paid bills & blogged all before 11:00 am. Such a moly maid! And a sure sign that I'm turning into a morning person (like my mum)

Last night was a blaaast! Dave Barnes is so flippin funny and so so talented. If you've ever been to one of his concerts, you know how ADD he is and how much he loves telling stories. He'll have about 3 stories going on at one time. A little hard to keep up w at times, but nontheless, I luuv it and would've been happy just hearing him talk all night. Haha! He played a lot of his new songs, stuff I've never heard before, so I've gotta go buy his new cd, asap (you should too). Favorite song of the night: Little Lies.

Tonight I'm hanging out with 'converse' haha! I think we're gunna go listen to some jaaaazzz! One of the things I really like about him, his taste in music.

Hey blogaroos!

Yesterday, even though it was a Monday, I was feeling really good (probably because of my uhhmayzin three day wkend). But anyway, I was refreshed, productive, giddyy, & in high spirites.

Today, I gotta admit, I'm the total opposite... :/ I've been so moody today. A real pleasure to be around I'm sure...not! Haha!

I guess the reason I'm feeling this way is due to a few things: i miss my pups, i miss somebody, a lack of sunshine, lack of exercise, & too much soda. Eeeks! Not a good combo.

Since this is not an ideal way to feel, I have decided to fight this off and go back to "planet perky" asap!

Here are a few things that always help me to perk up:

• blogging
• a nice warm cup of coffee
• phone chat w a friend
• writing in my planner
• a long, warm shower (pretty smells = happiness)
• a guuud chick flick (like you've got mail, sleepless in seattle, or hope floats)
• reading (sookie stackhouse)
• buying something (anything) *laughs*
• Target, i.e. heaven
• music (keith urban)

1. A three day weekend actually gives you time to relax.

2. Sunscreen is no longer optional, it's essential.
3. A clean apartment makes me feel so much better.
4. If you buy a bag of starbucks coffee, make sure you get it grinded... :D
5. Clash of the Titans was a really guudd film, but it's also a really weird film.
6. Frisbee golf is so funnn, even though I'm reallyyy bad at it.
7. I really need to start recycling cans, paper, something. It's important.
8. I have a new love for vintage t's again.
9. It truly is precious to see a guy in converse... :D

hi day, hi rain!

Hello darlings! This day..oh how I've loved it! It's been the perfect Saturdayy, I'm even loving the rain right noww. I woke up early, went to the Earth Day festival, played some frisbee golf, had a great lunch, saw a great movie (clash of the titans), wi a great guy (whom wears converse). Yah know I'm a sucka for a guy in converse. That kind of melts my heart basically. :) And converse with a ghost buster t-shirt, the most precious thing eveeeerrr! :P

Hope everyone is enjoying this rainy eveninggg! I am! I've got the puparoos, my mum, a blanket, a movie, & an iced carmel latte! yes sireeee! This day is guuuuud!

Lady Antebellum & Tim McGraw. Yey!

Last night: Leslie and I had so much funn! Lady Antebellum was nothing less than amayyzing! And I surprisingly came out a neww Tim McGraw fann! Maybe his number 1 fan! :)) Haha!! And I've decided that I'm gunna marry a cowboy! :D

Today: I'm fixin to go see my life saver at Salon Visage, for a trim. But I kind of wish I was getting a hair cut. I've been seeing all these really cute short haircuts, and it's really making me wanna chop mine off. :) But my hair grows very slow, & it's longer than its been in years.. so I must wait! Also today, I'm SOO sore that I can barely move, literally. Aerobics might be the death of me. haha!

This weekend: Is set to be rainy, which sucks because I'm suppose to be going to an Earth Day festival. I'm pretty sure the weather is going to blow it. Grrr! I'm real anxious about it though. There's suppose to be jazz music and cute little booths set up. Welp blogaroos, I hope ya'll have a gr8 weekend!

Coffee - I'm especially loving Coffee Mates, chocolate toffee right now. seriously, yum! And it makes my apartment smell heavenly! :)

Pretty Pearls - At the moment I'm lovingg pearls. Well, I've always loved them, but I've been wearingg them a lot lately. I love how elegant and classy they can look when worn right, even w jeans. My mamaw bought me some real pearls for my high school graduation, but I usually just wear the fakies.

Listening to Lady Antebellum - As some of you already knoww, I adore Lady Antebellum. Their music just speaks to me. And i'm so so excited Leslie and I are gunna be seeing them tomorrow night!!! Yippyy!

Sleeping - Getting up in the mornings has been almost impossible. Me and the "snooze" button have become good friends!

Mint chocolate chip ice cream - I think I could easily eat the whole box (maybe I'll try) hehe. So refreshingg.

10 things I learnt this weekend

1. It's possible for your abs to be sore for 4 days after an hour aerobics class.

2. I'm officially addicted to coffeeee.

3. McDonald's has a carmel mocha that's really good- you should try it!

4. Sittingg outside for every meal is great!

5. When your driving behind someone pulling a 3000 pound boat and they tell you to stay back, they mean it. :D

6. Last minute gift shoppingg is not always a bad thing.

7. My little puppy, sophie might be inlove with her brother. eww! Haha!

8. I can watch the same movies over and over.

9. Taylor Swift should nevah evah dance on stage!

10. Some things are just not worth being annoyed about.

Hey blogdolls! Just so you know, the caterpillars are still alive and well. I'm lovinn those things! So cool! My number one goal for the weekend: WASH and CLEAN car! Yeah! For those of you who have seen my car,you know what a process this is gunna be. Not looking forward to it...:/

My mom just told me something that made me laugh really hard!! She went to the store today to buy a bag of chips, on her way back to the car she dropped the chips w/o knowing, then she ran over them! LOL!!

Goodday blogaroos! I hope ya'll have had a fantastic week so far! We are halfway through. :) Positive thinking people, positive thinking!

Yeah I know, I shouldn't be wishing my life away. But it's the time of year where all I dream about is my upcoming summa holiday! Woooppeee, I don't even know what I'm gunna do wi/ myself for 2 months. I'll relax a lot, lay by the pool a lot, go out on the lake a lot with my brothers, & a roadtrip with my lovely friends is a must. Ohhh and I haven't missed a summer trip to Charleston in years, so hopefully that can happen. :D I'm also thinkingg about a part time job. Mmm? I don't know, it would have to be something really reallyy fun. :) We'll see.

Soooo this afternoon 30 caterpillars arrived in my classroom! I got so excited when I saw them!! Maybe more so than the kids. haha! It's gunna be so interesting learning about them, and if all goes well, watching them develop into butterflies! hehe! I've got directions to follow, they should be fine! :D

If you've got a starbucks travel mug, you should go to starbucks 2moro. They are giving away FREE coffee. Yey! Too bad I don't have one. Haha!

road trip!

Yesterday was lots of funn! Hung out with my uhmayzing friends all day! We layed out, strolled around downtown at the dogwood arts festival, went into the little shops, & ate. Very guuud day! Oh, and while we were laying out my mum and dad stopped by for a surprise visit on the motorcyle! I almost had a heart-a-TAT! Haha!! I'm not readyy for springg break to be over, at all. So sad! I wanna go on a road trip to anywhere. Savannah maybe? Ahh! Hope ya'll are having a gr8 weekend!

so long spring break

Good day blogbugs! So normally i'm like really excited about Fridays, but not really today. This means I have to say goodbye to my spring break, and I really don't want to. It's been a good one. I didn't make it to San Antonio, but it's still been gobs of fun and the weather has been so niiiiice! I got lots and lots of pool time (and puppy time) & did some seeeerious cleaning. So happy my apartment is ready for spring. I got a new floral shower curtain, new floral pillows for the living room, and my mum gave me these gorgeous purple flowers to set out in the kitchen. So pretty! There's a magical feel in the air when spring rolls around.

Welp, mum and I are fixing to go shop and have some lunch. Ya'll have a funnn weekend! :D

Blogaroos!

You know those days that are filled wi/ so much amazing-ness, that you just don't want them to ever end? Well, I've now had 2 days in a row like that. Last night, now today.

It's Easter! Everyone is celebrating Jesus and what He did for us today. I mean that alone makes for an incredible day. But I also love the colors, the candyyy, the food, the laughter, the love, the flowers, and no matter how old I get I will always love the easter basket my mum puts together. This year mine consisted of a cookbook, a coffee maker, mentos, jelly bellys, a marshmellow egg, silly puddy, and chewy carmels. Mmmm!
But Easter this year has been like especially great! We celebrated my mamaw's birthday today. Go mamaw! And, there's a lot of excitment in the air this year. Good things to come! I can feel it in my bones.

After lunch, we all sat on the porch and talked for hours,actually me, mom, dad and the puparoos are still out here. We can't bring ourselves to go in, just yet. So Traci and I worked on our tan today. :) The boys and my papaw entertained us on the guitar (i wanna learn real bad). Matt washed his car. Basically, it's been a wonderful day of doing absolutely nuuuuthing. :)Don't you just love those?

Yesterday was one of the best days!! I'm turning into an early bird, so I woke up early. Went to Starbucks (obsessed with the iced carmel machiatto). Came home, the weather was beyond incredible, took sophie girl to the dog park, got the best news EVER, layed out and thought about the best news ever, listened to my ipod, shopped. It was just a really guuuuud day! Someone who I thought would never come back into my life, all of a sudden has! Just outta the blue. It's pretty amazing actually.

I didn't get much sleep last night, I just laid in bed and thought about life and how funny it is. And how things work out, it's so so crazy. I'll fill in later.

expectations

So when it comes to my love life, i'm guilty of setting the standards pretty high. Too high? I don't know, I mean I do expect a lot in a relationship, which so far has set me up for a lot of hurt and disappointment. I'm pretty sure that I basically sabotage my own relationships. Haha! But then again, I think if your standards are gunna be high for anything, that should be it. Right? Is there such thing as the perfect man. No way! But the perfect man for me, yuupp! Just like every situation in your life, if you don't expect the very best, then you're basically just settling. I dream of a man who is intelligent, fun, handsome, charming, honest, knows me inside and out, and most importantly a man who loves Jesus.



Oh, and i'm officially on spring break now! Yeyeyeyeye!
